In 1997 we were awarded a contract to find and develop a site for a CVS pharmacy in a small Western Pennsylvania town.
CVS liked our work.
It was the beginning of a relationship that continues to this day. It was also the beginning of the "preferred development" program at Armstrong Development Properties.
When an expanding retailer wants to impact a new market, it's a necessity to quickly locate and open multiple sites. From one store in a small town, we now develop CVS pharmacies in nine states. We've constructed over 400 locations, with more than 150 sites in the development pipeline. A similar development program exists with JP Morgan Chase Banks, with many sites in development across our regions.
