In 1997 we were awarded a contract to find and develop a site for a CVS pharmacy in a small Western Pennsylvania town.

CVS liked our work.

It was the beginning of a relationship that continues to this day. It was also the beginning of the "preferred development" program at Armstrong Development Properties.

When an expanding retailer wants to impact a new market, it's a necessity to quickly locate and open multiple sites. With Armstrong Development's 'preferred development' program, we saturate a market with personnel and technology. We'll find, negotiate and build multiple sites in a timeframe most retailers cannot meet in house.

From one building in a small town, we now develop CVS pharmacies in nine states. We've constructed over 250 stores, with 115 in the pipeline. A similar 'preferred development' program now exists with JP Morgan Chase Banks. 20 bank sites are now in different stages of development in two states.

Few real estate companies have the resources we dedicate to building multiple stores in multiple markets. For retailers with growth in their future, selecting Armstrong Development as a preferred developer is the first step in a successful expansion program.
